New Ideas!
Excited! Should receive my new molds today! Have several new recycled items for Spring. Working on new jewelry, trays, soap dish and spoon rest. I’m sure there will be more! I feel that creativity slowely coming back!

Getting Motivated?
Well, it’s the new year and I just can’t get it together! Had these big plans to be more organized. Not happening! My studio is a mess and I am just exhausted! I have decided to clear my funk, I will exercise! Put that Curves membership to use! I might need a tan also! No time for the beach, just the old fashion way…tanning bed. It’s something about all that light gets me going. Yea, yea, yea…I know it’s bad for me! I will keep you updated.

Catching Up!
It’s been so busy! We had a great time at the “Lake Effects” shoot. Worked with awesome people. We recently saw Sara Elizabeth Timmins and she said they were editing. Can’t wait to see the finished product.

Movie “Lake Effect” Update
Super Excited!!!! We just got a call from the art director for “Lake Effect”, the movie filming here at Smith Mountain Lake, she ask us to be in their film version of the SML Wine Festival. We are setting up on Tuesday morning for filming Tuesday & Wednesday 5pm to 5am. Long hours but so worth it! We will keep you posted!

Its been months, sorry
Sorry I haven’t connected lately. Been so busy. Summer is so hectic. Hired several sales reps. Hoping they can help take my art to the next level. Also trying to get ready for the SML Wine Festival, last week in Sept. Come see us in booth #16.

Our taxes are wasted!
Tim and I spent hours at the Franklin County Tax office. You all know where this is going. After 2 1/2 hours we were forced to pay taxes, yet again, with the assurance that when I bring my receipt they will give me a refund. All this in order to purchase that rediculous county strip. I forgot to tell the best part, there is another Veronica Doyle in Franklin County, and her tax bill is now mine. I spent an hour doing the research from my phone to correct the counties mistake. And just when we thought we were finished, the lovely clerk prints a tax bill from 2004. Don’t we all beleive they just realized it was due. They make you pay all taxes, personal & business before you can renew your vehicle tags or buy county strips. My next stop was the DMV it was great in and out in 20 minutes. The savior today was our trip to Dave & Susans coffee house in Rocky Mount. I was having coffe withdrawl. Had great food. Well Elvis has left the bldg, so goodnight.

Dinner at The Landing
Tonight we had dinner at the Landing Restaurant. It was perfect, I started with the foie gras with balsamic roasted pears and champagne gel, then roasted pork loin with baked green beans and wonderful potatoes. Then to my favorite, creme brulee between pastry with strawberries and blackberries and a raspberry coulis…FABULOUS! Truely the best food at Smith Mountain Lake!
Belated Mothers Day
My daughter, Nicole, came for a girls day visit. She has treated me to Starbucks, Barnes & Noble and the Fresh Market (all my fav places). Great Day.
